There's a nice warm feeling about this haiku. It reminds me of a group of old friends reminiscing...

i agree, this one feels warm and friendly. i like that the 'old friend' can relate to a person or rain itself

I like polona's observation, and "your song" can man so many things.

This is truly delightful - the wording and subtle layers perfect.

I like any poetry with music. :)

Just remembering our old neighbor, he moved away one year ago. When he had his pension-money-day he spent a whole night and sung.

But he was not so good singer.-(

Anyway: here L1 is very positive beginning, and L2 brought to me a memory! but L3 is again a warm finishing!

We had a white snowfall here. No-one singing. Let's try a text:

White snow
on the old, white snow --
no-one singing

Shall I sing - I am always ready for a song! :))

just kidding, I liked this one...the melancholy here....i love that mood :)

Magyar, hope you don't mind the encroachment that I would make occasionally :)
