Inspired. I must agree with Gillena. A lovely haiku moment, Magyar.

Upsidedown is what we know. But this is Haiku. Very fine verse.

Best wishes

I dont know whether Im being too literal or not literal enough... the meaning of this one seems to pass me by... I will sleep on it!

Magyar, with your permission,

Dalloway, I think I can understand you well...i had the same problem when reading it...

But, as part of understanding Magyar's view point...i thought he saw someone making the birds sing for money....

there are such gypsies in India, that made me say keen observation...

but again, how Magyar's purse had coins was a bit confusing...may be he was about pay...

Magyar could say it better...and if you please, Magyar..i would also like to know :)

wishes,
devika

_Bird songs, each, a "coin" added to your days wealth, and kept at hand in your mind's purse... to enrich your day.
_I thank you all for your very kind comments, each, a "coin."

Oh that was so lovely, Magyar!

the world of commerce and politics (which I otherwise delve in) many a time pollute my reading...I am sorry for that...

and it was so worthy to have your explanation...a gold coin and feel so, inspired.

Nora said that but I couldn't make out so well :)

I do think, though, Magyar, that the idea of coins placed in a purse as payment for the songs is a meaning that the words of the poem suggest.

As a lover of birds my own interpretation was fairly close to your explanation - what a delightful reflection on hearing their sounds.
Love this Magyar.
