___As a wren turns the leaves... but one at a time... I look for the wind to stir my thoughts. ___Thanks for the kind comment, Dev.

ha! sounds a windmill of sorts :)

kidding Magyar -- the first thought was that its waves i often associate with that process of stirring thoughts...but then, wind is the primemover there too :)

its always my pleasure to read Magyar :)

devika

The German word for wren is Zaunkönig (king of the fence). This opens the scene even wider to me, _m. Like it!

Best wishes

I like the technique:
It's what we call in German "Scharnierzeile". The second line is linked with the first line and with the third line as well.

thoughts linger
among these fallen leaves
>That is a complete meaning!

among these fallen leaves
a wren
>That's a complete meaning as well!
Well constructed!
Best wishes

Yes nicely done, I loved all the recent haiku that you've written. Everyone's comments so educational for new poets like myself, too.

I like these thoughts among the leaves - and yes autumn gives many thoughts to linger with, noty only for a wren ;)
