Trees, you can't get any closer to the earth than that.
Hope you had a good earth day!

Imagine a life of 6000 years on earth, Wikipedia informs that" The Baobab tree species in Africa is supposedly the longest living species of trees in the world. Individual specimens have reportedly lived for over ten thousand years. The legends, tales, and myths of the surrounding peoples provides support to these claims. Unfortunately the species do not form consistent annual growth rings, and radio carbon dating is sometimes ineffective. However one specimen, the Sunland Baobab, has had its age Carbon Dated to approximately 6000 years. Combining the age with the size and girth of the tree, lends credibility to the other claims

__I, in going there Gillena, found I had seen that tree... never
knowing its name or history. A tree
of legend... in the ground, upside down... but of such value.
__Remarkable info Gillena, and I thank you for the link... to learn. _m

Earth day...
This Oil spill brought sadness
And a strong "slap" in the face
Tears fall down
I can only hope these put out the fires...
