Humanity encroaches upon the natural habitat of so many other species and then at some point needs to help undo the damage done as in the case of this turtle. This brings to mind so many questions. A thought-provoking post Magyar.

Turtles live a long time.
I have a pet turtle since i was 10 years old, that makes it 25 years old.
It knows a lot of secrets and stories.
Who knows if the turtle you both saved won´t some day share this story with your grandchildren when they reach your age.
It is rewarding to give nature a litlle push back into the pond,isn´t it ?!
