brings back childhood memories...the way we watched nd learned --

last day a friend's son came over and looking at my acquarium, he was asking -- won't the fishes get bored? do they watch tv?...he was serious, such are the children today :)

yes, in a way....consider children and fishes living inside homes - the question was genuine :)

Those signs of spring and the cycles of nature that are always a delight to be witness to, D. Perfectly expressed as always!

A comforting image: thaw and spawning fish. That makes happy after this long winter.

Best wishes

for some reason the frogs haven't spawned in our pond this year. I'm so disappointed and wonder if that's because of the fierce winter here around the Mersey area. Does any one know why?

was just reading and re-reading a segment of your work.

your work re-minds me of a sketch book where the artist stores ideas, playing and manipulating a form.

your sketches with words are delightful

Aha so spring really is coming :)
A lovely image - I shall miss the fish run I watched for so many years on the coast.

Sounds like spring to me, thank goodness.

Dev; "the way we watched and learned"... it seems we did! As always, _m

K, my imagination feels the closer sun!

Thanks Rudi... there is this progress of nature!

Gerry... the shad, some time yet; at our pond I love listening to the frog's night songs.

LL, "I think, therefor I am," long ago I re-phrased to -I think, therefor I see-. Always LL! _m.

We'd better step aside Janice, we don't want spring to run us over!
Smiles! _m

Sandy... I like the -sound- you hear!

Moondustwriter, I thank you for your visit, and your kind words, you are always welcome! I have visited your blog often... and I'm taken in by your work as well!
