As usually love your words! I'm also impressed with the poem of your granddaughter - such a skilled little lady:)

__I guess a question may be; what is a match, the candle and its shadow? Or is is it that sparky thing that can light the candle?
__Thanks friends! _m

draw the match; Creation needed just the Word; creativity on the other hand needs the dynamism of our actions

much love...

This makes me sad...I want the candle to glow! As always, D, your imagery is remarkable.

Our professor used to say after the evening class -- 'put off the light and light the cigarettes' - Your profile picture goes well with the haiku,

And Nice to see Maya's haiku, Magyar :)

oh well we girls didn't smoke...only the boys -- can't say boys and girls, there were much older/retired people even in the evening law college :)

& the professor ofcourse was an existentialist :)

As per Wikipedia..."Existentialism generally focused on the condition of human existence, and an individual's emotions, actions, responsibilities, and thoughts, or the meaning or purpose of life .....as opposed to analysing objective knowledge, language, or science"

Just to make it clear, Magyar...Your might know, but since it's subjective, people tend to attribute individual meaning to
the whole philosophy
