Quick home, to face the potential wind and rain. This, a recent comment I left at TALON; summer swinging at night.

Hello friends... another "quick home."
__With all due respects to haiku masters both ancient and modern, and with a smile, is it plausible that haiku/senryu... are the forerunners of texting? The enticement of the terse?

Quickly home.
In an early evening... rain.

Quick home, but because of the heat, back to the pond!
__From time to time, I hang one of my Sunflower seed bird feeders, with a heavy rubber band. It doesn't bother the birds, but that bounce and spin sure bother the "seed stealers."  Has anyone ever seen a dizzy squirrel? No harm done... but comic!
