__I'll point out: "Spasms of Light," a collection of haiku, senryu, haibun and tanka, has recently been made available at amazon.com. This is the premier anthology produced by  Wonder Haiku Worlds, and among the "Spasms of Light" contributors... there are many, of whom you will know.

That's beautiful Doug, if I a credit card I might look into it, but I've been a bad girl, no credit cards for me

Hi Magyar, Spasms of Light is one great publication. I am also one of the contributors to it. I have read your haiku in the concept form of Spasms of Light. Great haiku. My compliments. Or so we always say: Chapeau.

i used to watch these speeding points of light in the inky black darkness in the northwestern maine wilderness in the early 1960s. communications satellites - possibly the echo, telstar (5 miles per second - 3000 feet above earth), relay, and syncom satellites? you may remember the andover earth station in andover, maine

great posts - i miss those dark nights of long ago!
