I'm planning to check your archives! I love this one!
Thanks for the nice comment on my post, Doug. I wrote that post out of a desperate need to remember just who I am.

This Haiku is totally beautiful and filled with endless reflections.

I remember a long ago total eclipse of the sun, while living on a wilderness lake in northwestern Maine. It became totally dark during the late afternoon and the song of the night creatures echoed off the mountains - you can imagine how sound carries across the water - when the sun returned the birds greeted the light, as they do at sunrise. It was an eerie moment of my youthful days that your Haiku drew me back into.

Hope your autumn days are filled with beauty and peaceful moments...

Good morn' friends, and thank you for your comments, and [lease check the -link list- to the right.
__I often visit WF Owen's -one liner- blog, and his most recent post caused me to look through my
"scribble books."
__At our pond three summers ago, there was no eclipse of the moon, but my cup (during that -last
sip/tip-) blocked the moon from my eyes... eclipse.
__Five R... Comments, such as yours
from someone that writes as do you,
surprise me! Thanks.
__Thanks to you all! _m
