__The final kno(t)... is yet to be tied.

A String of life

The first knot
Then another, and another
Knot_ after knot_ after knot.

In time the knots
Become too densely joined
Knotafterknotafterknot.

Too, soon the knots
Are tied with less compression,
Knot,  after   k n o t,   after   k n o.
