__Soon we'll be seeing  the 'home-side' crocuses bursting through what remains of our icy snow, and that... a warming thought.

Spring has sprung. Spring sprang here at the new year's turn . . .
New weather patterns ruling the roost.

In Vienna we are still waiting for winter to arrive. Today 13 C in the shade.

I "see" the spike-formed leaves of the crocus pushing up hard, while the icicle above it melts to soft water - a circle of change.

Such a beautiful, awe inspiring image you have evoked!
The fragile little crocus beneath the ice...a tiny, tender spark of life...awaiting the first rays of spring...
Wonderful! :))

Nice one Magyar. The weather seems to have fooled a lot of plants. Over here we has daffodils blooming in December...

__The original of this, was in my scribble book of February 22 2014, and the crocus patiently waits.
__"Y" and Frank, I truly thank you. The crocus amazes me, it can surge through the remaining snow and ice, in its unstoppable effort to succeed and bloom_! Is that, then, a lesson to we all? _m
