Haiku, Senryu, and an occasional Haibun or Cinquain
__Two "crossing returns;" 1, the Canada Geese; 2, the herring... up that valley's river.
The geese are singing merrily from across the lake ...(I live on a lake) So enjoyed your haiku.Thank you.
returning geese!!!...and the herring run... are like the homing pigeons...home is...all that is...always.

i know nothing about herring...but geese---yes...they are surely on their way...spring is then summer...warmthautumn...winter...cold is...yet the warmth...is now...i feel it...in words...of thoughts---these!
