"Kindness in response to kidness", Thank you, my new found older brother!.
Between me and my counsciousness
Is an abyss
At whose invisible bottom runs
The noise of a stream far from suns,
Whose very sound is dark and cold -
AY, on some skin of our soul´s deeming,
Cold and dark and terribly old,
Itself, and not in it´s told seeming.
THE ABYSS -A small excerpt from "Engligh poems" by Fernando Pessoa.
Nice...reminds me that statues are not complete without pigeons. Would like to see one where the pigeons are part of the original sculpture...now THAT would be remarkable.
Very nice Magyar. We can all be contradictory at times...
I really like this one. "this bronze" is a perfect last line here.
I love "worldly pigeons" - I imagine them fluttering from statue to statue sharing secrets.
I think I have a touch of Pessoa contrariness in me, too :)
You're brilliant, dear Magyar. Love it.
i like this, esp. being a Pessoa inspired haiku and would love to sit on those benches in Lisbon someday.
