__We learned last night of the death of a 15 year old, the grandson of a one-time co-worker of mine. He sadly succumbed to one of "society's claws;" he was our grandson's age.

I am so sorry for the loss of one so young. There is no need to apologize - it's just terribly wrong, isn't it?

Magyar, I read several of your haiku. Superb! I find them to be an inspiration and am happy to "follow" your blog.
I read the comments about the young one who died. Very sad. It is growing increasingly difficult to keep ones children safe.
