__Once in a while I actually like something I've written, and I'm not above 're-posting.' This I scribbled several years back, and posted here 'bout a year ago. It was my last 'butterfly' haiku, and since, I've used the common, or the biological name of the butterfly seen.

listen...
above the silent flowers
a butterfly

I'm glad you re-posted this, Magyar. It's so beautiful! Especially "silent flowers". I really love this! Such beauty in so few words.

its very beautiful .. i am not surprised you feel moved to repost this one... its got a wonderful 'stretch' in the haiku - that we recognise the silence as our own in the face of beauty and that the flowers too are silent in the presence of the butterfly ...

very very luverly ... >>> Gina

I like it very much !
It gives one a feeling of contentment,or philosophocal fulfillment.
Like, there is nothing much to do and to pursue, and truth was finally found.
You made my day my friend,
thank you !

to listen for a butterfly -- like a breath, a sigh . . . gentle beauty. Hope spring has found you on the Cape, Magyar? :-)

In our society the visual function has become very important for financial reasons (advertising).
Happy can be who is able to entjoy nature with all senses.
That's my mood reading your ku.
Best wishes

Yes.
He says nothing and it's good so.

__My friends, new and old, I welcome you, and heartily thank you all!

__Isn't there amazement when one sees and hears... the sights and sounds that are beyond perception;
imagination is a grand tool!

If we listen closely, we can hear the butterfly's wings...just as you can hear what a lover is saying when you look into her eyes.
