You couldn't find Northen lights here, unfortunatelly there are loads of mosquitos!
Beautiful haiku.
On first sight line b seems to describe what northern lights are. So I tried to think about the inner picture - and found "this" (which gives a special tension between the lyrical I and the world around). Fine haiku.

Hi Magyar - I kept forgetting to go out and look for the display - living in town the lights tend to drown out anything like that. Terrific haiku, my friend!!
