What gorgeous imagery, D...the dipper filling up...but, oh, the trouble when it spills over...which it's starting to do here now.
I have seen a night like this.
Boa expressão!
lol that made me smile, thanks Doug
Very nice imagery, Magyar. I like it a lot...
Night snow is a nightmare at the moment, at least here:)
As usually love your words!

Lovely haiku

handle down, over treetops
the dipper empties

Dear Magyar,
Thanks from the core of my heart for your kind & prompt reciprocation... as well as your word of 'Welcome' for my further visit to your fantastic blog.
It goes without saying that I shall keep visiting you from time to time as you have got a lot of literary stuff of my flavour. Your picturesque creation is,indeed, full of modern symbols & imagery.
In the end of your succinct comment, you wrote 'Soo-kri-ah'.
Perhaps you wanted to say 'Shukriya' (the popular Urdu word for 'Thanks') to me...isn't it, sir? That's a beautiful way of honouring someone by using a word from one of his native languages.
Here I would love to tell you that Hindi is my lovely mother tongue which has the word 'Dhanyavaad' synonymous with English 'Thanks' or 'Thank you'.
Thanks & regards,

I'm a long-time admirer of the night sky, and the big dipper in particular. So creative! I love it!
Hope you're well, dear friend.
