herring gulls
ride the on-shore winds
a duck

as you say, an echo, but from my memory, which was submitted to Melissa Allen last year-- talk od ducks and i'm reminded of that scene back home,

well as for yours: i've seen them all...and felt the wind too, well quite a few times :)
