Evocative one Magyar - it's been a couple years since I've watched baseball - it was a fun thing to do in the evenings...
I read a couple of times to get the essence behind. Lovely post. My wishes!
Kathy and I sit in the dark and share some soft talk as we listen to the game on the radio; summer nights outside at our pond.
LL... you made it to Second! A double, good hit!
K... soon, the green will burn through that blanket of white; take your base!
John... and we hear the "crickets" in the dark, thanks friend.
Jan... Kathy and I do, from time to time, go to the minor league games, but since I watch very little TV... I can't remember the last TV game I saw... a strike-out!

This haiku has a lot of energy, Magyar...
I guess I am just not a fan of baseball, because I read this as something much deeper. It is really a lovely piece.
