Good it isn't the wrinkles of time?
~ There is nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can build and yet leave a landscape as it was before. ~ Robert Lynd

a serene image with the slightest of animation
much love...
sounds perfect!
Thank you all, my friends!
__I'm not a "bird watcher;" I enjoy watching all animals and their daily functions. I am, though, constantly amazed by
-birds-, and the differances among them. Just count the wing beats of a Great Blue Heron and match them [and size, of course] to those of a Hummingbird!
... and yet leave a landscape as it was before... thx Dev.

As always, D, your words take me right to a certain place in time and I'm transfixed.
Gorgeous, Doug - A very special haiku!

Hi Magyar,
I mean your preface should offer material for a ku - variating the subject.
