that is great to hear you had a really good, very well report!! And you left us a beautiful haiku. Forsythia brings up many memories of childhood for me in Kansas City in the 50's where I lived as a kid. Our property was bordered by forsythia bushes and my dad would always make a joke for some reason, not sure why, and call them forthythia which would make my sister and i laugh.. Well i now know that is the reason he did it - to make us laugh.
So glad to hear you are doing well.

Hi Doug,

Wonderful news about the visit to the Doc.

There are forsythia here on the grounds, but none at my condo. Where I lived before I would cut some early and force them to bloom inside.
The splash of yellow is a boost to one's mood.

Take care and keep posting

I'm sorry to hear of your inactivity as you put it, but very glad and heartened that the latest results are very positive.i continue as always with simply the aches and pains of old age but extremely glad to still be around. I hope we both comment on the world around us for a fair while yet. As the great Scots poet MACDIARMID used to say 'HAUD FORRIT' (HOLD forward)!!!

aye john
