What I had said was...
Here in the south, winter still seems far away...the days are still somewhat warm at times. I can picture your pond, though...and it brings a chill even under my beautiful November sun. Wonderful writing, Magyar!!!

i like this, this reminds me of Holden Caulfield (Catcher in the Rye) asking "Where do the ducks go during winter?".
