__I'll point out: "Spasms of Light," a collection of haiku, senryu, haibun and tanka, has recently been made available at amazon.com. This is the premier anthology produced by Wonder Haiku Worlds, and among the "Spasms of Light" contributors... there are many, of whom you will know.

excellent haiku, reminds me of camping out in the countryside where you could see the space stations pass by
i used to watch these speeding points of light in the inky black darkness in the northwestern maine wilderness in the early 1960s. communications satellites - possibly the echo, telstar (5 miles per second - 3000 feet above earth), relay, and syncom satellites? you may remember the andover earth station in andover, maine
